The utilization of mangrove forests as raw material of charcoal by the community in Batu Ampar Sub-District, Kubu Raya District, West Kalimantan has been going on for a long time, in traditional and hereditary. However, this activity is indicated as one of the main causes of the destruction of mangrove forests in this region. PP 6/2007 provides opportunities utilization of mangrove forest by legal and in accordance with the concept of sustainable development. Stakeholders as a part of the institution of mangrove forest management have an important role in achieving the objectives of sustainable utilization of mangrove forests. This study aims to identified, mapped and described the role of stakeholders in the utilization of mangrove forests as a raw material for charcoal by community.References
