Abstract

Biological control emerged as a promising alternative in pre- and postharvest diseases control, such as chili anthracnose caused by Colletotrichum acutatum. Potency of Aureobasidium pullulans as antagonist in chili anthracnose has been demonstrated. Three isolates of A. pullulans were evaluated in vitro to determine its antagonism activity against C. acutatum, as causal of anthracnose on chili.
