Abstract

Worldwide, the contribution of university fashion design training programs towards the manpower development for the fashion and apparel (FA) industry cannot be underestimated. The objective of this paper is to identify the contribution of Kenyan University undergraduate fashion and apparel design programs (UUGFADPs) towards manpower development for Kenyan FA industry. Descriptive survey was used to collect data at Kenyatta, Maseno, Egerton, University of Eldoret (UoE), University of Eastern Africa-Baraton (UEAB) and fashion and apparel design (FAD)
