Abstract

Tourism object of South Nias is a destination which can attract tourists to visit and revisit it. The objective of the research was to examine the influence of tourism, service, and facility attractiveness on the interest in revisiting with tourists’ satisfaction as mediating variable in the tourism object of South Nias, North Sumatera Province. The research used descriptive quantitative method. Primary data were gathered by using questionnaires. Hypothesis was tested by using significance level of 5%. The population was 29,129 tourists who had visited, and 395 of them were used as the samples, taken by using proportionate sampling technique. The data were analyzed by using path analysis, T-test, and t-test. The result of the research, using path analysis, showed that there was the influence of tourism, service, and facility attractiveness on tourists’ satisfaction. There was the influence of tourism and service attractiveness and tourists’ satisfaction on the interest in revisiting, while facility did not. It was also found that, simultaneously, tourism, service, and facility attractiveness had the influence on the interest in revisiting. Partially, tourism and service attractiveness had significant influence on the interest in revisiting, while facility did not.
