First Report on the Root Knot Nematodes Meloidogyne spp. of Sweetpotatoes in Sorong Regency, West Papua- Indonesia

Abstract

Sweet potatoes with abnormal tubers were found in Salawati District, Sorong Regency, West Papua Province. Surveys in the period of April to September 2014 found the disease symptoms include tubers fail to grow and turn into a hard roots, smaller size tubers and number of tubers per hill decreased.
