Abstract

The evolution of China’s Public Diplomacy today, particularly after the advent of Covid-19 is an issue that has been intense according to experts in International Relations and public diplomacy practitioners. This is mainly due to two important key - factors - a timeless and a current one. First, China is one of the most powerful economic powers in the world, and after the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, China continued to consider Russia a strategically irreplaceable ally. These two crucial factors affect and will affect not only the public diplomacy of China, but also the global energy diplomacy, geopolitics, foreign policy, and public diplomacy of the majority of Western countries, including the EU and the US.
