The Impact of HRM Practices on Employees’ Performance in Telecom Sector of Pakistan

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of HRM practices including Recruitment, training and incentive compensation on the performance of employees working in Telecom sector of Pakistan. In Pakistan telecom is the fastest growing sector and influence of HRM practices become stronger in recent years in telecom sector. Data for this study was collected on convenient basis and questionnaires were given to collect data of 130 managerial level employees working in five telecom companies to measure the impact of HRM practices on employee performance. Correlation and Regression tests are used to measure the relationship. Results from data have proved that the HRM practices including recruitment, training and incentive compensation have positive impact on the performance of employees working in telecom sector of Pakistan.
